Warwickshire cricket player Ian Bell recently had an eye examination at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care in Solihull.
His vision was judged to be of a good standard for him to play in the Pakistan Super League in Dubai against reigning champions Islamabad United, in the game’s T20 format.
Bell said: ‘Keeping fit and healthy is an important part of being a professional sportsman and that includes having regular check-ups like eye tests. The results were all positive and now I’m looking forward to taking on some of the biggest names in the T20 game.’
