Challenges and opportunities presented by contact lens wear and driving has been confirmed as the topic for new British Contact Lens Association president Dr Catharine Chisholm's first address.
She will conduct a one-hour talk called Life in the fast lane: contact lenses and driving on September 19, at the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) in London.
Offering one CET point, the presentation will include the aspects of new vision standards for driving relating to contact lenses. Dr Chisholm will also discuss visual quality in the presence of uncorrected astigmatism, toric lenses and presbyopic lens options with particular reference to mesopic lighting conditions.
The talk is free for BCLA members to attend along with one non-member guest each.
