Sequential buys Revo

US company Sequential Brands Group has acquired the active lifestyle brand Revo from Oakley and Luxottica in a cash deal reportedly worth approximately $20m.

The acquisition will see a new long-term agreement with B Robinson Optical for the manufacturing and distribution of Revo sunglasses and related products, along with a global agreement with Sunglass Hut to continue distribution of products at its stores.

‘We are thrilled to add Revo to Sequential’s brand portfolio,’ said Yehuda Shmidman, CEO of Sequential Brands Group. ‘Together with our new licensee, B Robinson, we are committed to preserving the DNA of the Revo brand in its core category of eyewear.
