Optometrist Ash Shah has taken part in a DVD about road safety filmed in Specsavers' Redhill branch.
A film crew from the Safer Roads organisation was invited into the store to discuss the importance of eye care for drivers.
Shah said: 'When I heard about the work that Safer Roads is involved in, I immediately saw the importance of ensuring that we could give clear, concise information that will help to save lives on the roads.'
In addition to his contribution, the film interviewed police officers, fatigue experts and the Highways Agency.
