Shamir UK has appointed Tanya Storey as its new head of sales and professional services.
Storey, who held the product development manager role for the past eight years, will now fully drive the commercial development of the business. ‘Tanya’s comprehensive understanding of the ophthalmic industry is of great benefit to both our customers and our team of lens consultants,’ said Phil Bareham, general manager of Shamir UK. ‘Her passion for the industry and broad experience will continue to strengthen our position and levels of support that we can offer.’
Storey will now assume responsibility for UK sales, marketing, technical support and product development. ‘I’m very proud to be part of such a highly skilled and motivated team,’ she said. ‘I very much look forward to leading the commercial contingent onwards and building Shamir’s relationships within all sectors of our industry.’
