Global employee shareholding at Essilor exceeds 50%
Global employee shareholding at Essilor has exceeded the goal of 35% that had initially been set for 2020 and surpassed 50%, the company has said.
The number of employees with a financial participation in the company has risen to more than 35,000 following a new shareholding plan introduced in September.
Hubert Sagnières, Essilor chairman and chief executive officer, said: ‘This extraordinary result is a strong endorsement by our employees of the group’s mission and strategy and I would like to thank them all.’
