Sheinman marks relaunch

Established Northampton practice expands and adds a sunglass store, reports Rory Brogan.

Sheinman Opticians in Northampton hosted a 'New image' launch party last week after a £300,000 makeover that included adding a sunglass department to the front of its 12,000sq ft premises.

The sunglass area, featuring high-end brands from Barton Perreira to Thierry Lasry, takes the place of the optical laboratory which has been relocated and expanded in the basement of the practice.

To celebrate the launch the practice hosted a 1960s-style catwalk show that was attended by local dignitaries, numerous optical suppliers, and several Northampton Saints rugby players, including England hooker Dylan Hartley.
