Karen Millen eyewear has added four new frames for the autumn/winter season.
Feature-flattering and perfectly proportioned eye shapes radiate shimmering, irresistable elegance in an innovative new acetate material, said Andrew Actman. ‘Plastic can now sparkle and shine in ways that were only possible with metal. The effect has taken some time to perfect and it has been necessary for us to explore solutions from different industries. The new material is a breakthrough in frame design and offers so much scope for achieving new dimensions in texture and tone.’
Model KM0065 (pictured) is described as a delicate style with soft curves and wide eyes to define the brow and heighten the cheekbones. Acetate sides in ‘shimmering’ gold and ‘ravishing’ red are completed with a shiny finish. The full collection comprises 30 styles, each available in a choice of three colours.
