Sight Care attracted 600 registrants to its annual conference in Birmingham earlier in the month.
The event began with a workshop on Sunday March 3 on technology in practice, which was attended by 100 practitioners.
Sight Care chief executive Paul Surridge (pictured) said: 'It's a great way to start the event. Members really enjoy discussing pertinent subjects, sharing best practice and presenting on their deliberations.' A pre-conference dinner speech was delivered by musician and journalist Reverend Richard Coles, while the following morning marked a service award to former board member Bob Chappell.
