Sight Care has opened a new initiative to aid its members from independent practices to set up their own local optical networking groups.
This service was developed by Sight Care in collaboration with the Health and Wellbeing Group, for independent practitioner-owners who want to increase the profile of their practice in local areas.
Participating members were invited to attend a meeting every three weeks to meet like-minded business owners. Existing members who did not choose to initiate an exclusive group were given opportunities to join existing groups.
‘We understand how important and effective networking within the local community can be as a marketing tool to independent practices,’ said Sight Care CEO John French. ‘Providing a specialist networking group for independent opticians and other health professionals will support our members in achieving their business goals.’
