A new titanium material was used in all the products in the Titan Next Generation range. Comprising 76 per cent titanium, 20 per cent vanadium and 4 per cent aluminium, it aims to be highly flexible, corrosion-resistant and allergy free. Other new features in the range include the SPX ball hinge, designed to resist loosening. A technique of fixing the lenses aims for a simple, clean mount. The Casual Collection, launched this month, comes in a range of colours in a small, flat, hard case. The eye rim is replaced by a nylon thread to provide visual lightness. Bridge, trim and temple are made of the new metal alloy. Modern Classics come in two minimalist styles. Model 7353 is an oval, aimed at the unisex market, while square model 7354 is more masculine. Other new models include the square-shaped 1493, a curved metal design for 6417 and acetate for 1492. The sunglass frames include a double bridge, an updated version of the classic aviator shape. Model 8062 has metal temples and is available in men's and unisex versions (8555) in gold and silver, and gold/silver combinations. The other sunglasses have a wraparound style with a metal trim in the hinge area. Colours include black, tortoise, olive-gold and grey blue. A metal version, model 8061, has a finish at the eye rim, temple and bridge areas. Elegance Collection has added two men's frames in a small oval eye shape (model 7357) and square (model 7358), and five women's frames. Model 1495 comes in three sorbet shades in a patterned acetate. Model 1494 is a half-eye in a light, transparent look and model 1496 comes in a variety of colours. There are also two metal frames for women.
