
The international optics and eyewear trade fair Silmo Paris showcased emerging trends and immersive experiences at Paris Nord Villepinte between September 20 and 23.
This year, the four-day event saw 32,125 professionals attend, 52% of them international, with more than 900 companies presenting new products.
Silmo Paris sought to foster an environment conducive to discoveries and collaborations, to pave the way for future innovations.
Highlights of the event included the Silmo d’Or awards, the optical design contest, the committed company prize, the international optician of the year award and the inter-school challenge.
The 2024 edition marked the 30th anniversary of the Silmo d’Or awards, which recognised technical excellence, creativity and innovation.
