u Three-day eventer Michael Owen was a top scorer in a major sporting event the other weekend when he and his horse ÔPerks of the JobÕ achieved one of only six double-clear rounds at the Burghley Horse Trials.
Some 160,000 spectators and an estimated 2.5m television viewers saw him clear the challenging cross country course carrying the Siltint logo.
Commenting on the success, Siltint managing director Gerry Biggs said: ÔAs a keen but very amateur rider myself, I congratulate Michael Owen on a truly excellent performance. It is good to see Siltint associated with a double clear in every sense of the term.Õ
