Glasgow Radisson Blu Hotel will host the annual Scottish Optical Conference on November 17, which organisers said was the largest one day interactive CPD event in the UK.
Speakers included: optometrist Sarah Farrant from Earlam and Christopher Optometrists, who will present on dry eye treatment and hyper osmolarity, and amniotic membrane contact lenses; Dr Sanjay Mantry will discuss what medication is optimal for specific eye diseases; and Tom Davies will explore bespoke eyewear, materials and the magic wardrobe.
The event included tracks for contact lenses and ocular surface for optometrists and contact lens opticians, optometry for optometrists and independent prescribing optometrists, and building skills for the future for optometrists, dispensing opticians and practice staff.
