The organisers of the Scottish Optical Conference have decided to postpone the event until April

The organisers of the Scottish Optical Conference have decided to postpone the event until April 25, 2021.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the event explained the new date was picked with the expectation restrictions would be at pre-Covid levels, with a potential second spike in infections flattening out by then.
‘As such, we felt a conference in November, or even moving to early 2021, is not in the best interests or indeed the safety of our delegates, speakers and sponsors.’
Delegates that have already booked places at the conference will have their bookings transferred to the new date.
