Quincey Eyewear has launched a new advanced version of its Palette Rx sunlenses.
The new lens range, Solar Flair, combines the properties of the original Palette lens with the advanced photochromic properties of the latest Transitions V.
John Quincey said that Pallette offered all the style of fashionable plano sunglasses with the convenience of tailor-made prescription lenses in single-vision, bifocal and progressive styles, all in 1.59 index polycarbonate.
He said that an almost unlimited range of colours was available in mono, graduated and blended styles, up to 85 per cent absorption, with higher absorptions through additional special processing where extreme conditions demand.
'Palette lenses are lighter and thinner than most other plastics and cut out damaging UV whatever the colour density and may be supplied in wraparound or standard base curves,' said Quincey.
Mirrored coatings can be added and a full glazing service is available, including special work to accommodate the more unusual fitting styles.
