SpaMedica Doncaster was rated ‘outstanding’ in an inspection by the independent regulator of health and social care in England in August.
Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission commended the hospital’s high standards of patient care and for being effective, caring and responsive to people’s needs, according to the company.
The hospital was praised for having ‘well below average complication rates’ and ‘helping to ease the pressure on local NHS hospitals’, with 100% of patients saying they’d recommend the service to others.
‘I’m really proud of my team, who work incredibly hard to deliver the best possible care to our patients,’ said hospital manager, Sharron Hughes.
