Specsavers and HomeCall form joint-venture partnership

Specsavers has entered a new joint-venture partnership with Dublin-based domiciliary company HomeCall.

Providing eye care to the housebound, the Specsavers HealthCall service will combine HomeCall’s experience in the sector with the same Specavers’ offers, products and standards of care found in its high street stores.

Specsavers Ireland chairperson Sinead Clohessy said: ‘As the Irish population ages, it’s inevitable that the need for domiciliary eyecare will increase. HomeCall founders Patrick and Teresa and their team share our values and offer a vital lifeline to these people. With a successful domiciliary business in the UK we are well poised to help further develop the service in Ireland.’
