Specsavers Antrim recognised

Antrim and Newtownabbey’s mayor paid a visit to the town’s Specsavers store to present a certificate

Antrim and Newtownabbey’s mayor paid a visit to the town’s Specsavers store to present the team with a ‘services to the community’ certificate.

Councillor Jim Montgomery, town councillor and mayor, said: ‘It was a privilege to visit the staff at Antrim Specsavers and present them with a certificate in recognition of their hard work and the essential service they continued to provide to the citizens of our Borough during the pandemic.’

‘While many businesses were forced to pull their shutters down for several months we are grateful that services such as Specsavers were able to remain open and support the people in our community who needed urgent or essential eye care.’
