Specsavers boosts wellbeing offering

Specsavers has offered over 10,000 of its eye and hearing care professionals and staff at manufacturing and distribution sites a free subscription to the mindfulness app Headspace.

Steven Evans, head of wellbeing and inclusion at Specsavers, said the wellbeing of its staff mattered to the multiple and the app was one of the ways it offered support.

‘Since we first offered the free subscription to the app, there has been more than 10 million minutes of usage. Around one in five of our colleagues have signed up and are using it regularly, with 54% of the usage around sleep-related content.
