Phil Pavitt is to step down as global CIO of Specsavers in June after three years at the multiple.
John Perkins, joint managing director of Specsavers, said: ‘Phil joined Specsavers in 2014 with a remit to enhance our IT capability for the journey ahead, a journey that we know will be massively technologically dependent.
‘Since then, significant progress has been made on this plan. I am very grateful to Phil for this, and we now find ourselves in a strong position moving forward.’
