Specsavers hails MiniPAC series a success

Specsavers gathered clinicians for the 2023 Mini Professional Advancement Conferences between March 21 and June 25. 

The conferences had 2,300 attendees across 181 sessions, with 32 speakers covering all four core CPD domains, including professionalism, communication, clinical practice and leadership and accountability, as well as both contact lens optician and therapeutic optometrist specialty domains. 

Grant Duncan, Specsavers director of professional development, said: ‘This was our most ambitious and diverse agenda yet. 

‘The programme was designed to help shape best practice and enhance customer service and used clinical, dispensing and contact lens outcome reports to identify key areas of learning and development.’
