Specsavers has topped the list of Reader's Digest Trusted Brands consumer survey for 2009 in the UK opticians' category.
The annual survey's primary objective is to find out which brands people trust most in a range of product categories. Specsavers' share of the votes was 45 per cent, followed by independent opticians (17 per cent), Boots Opticians (13 per cent), Vision Express (9 per cent), Dollond & Aitchison (8 per cent) and Tesco (2 per cent). This is the eighth time in a row that Specsavers has topped the list.
