Specsavers has won top accreditation for its business aircraft service to the Channel Islands and Europe.
The company's planes have been awarded an International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Accreditation Level 3 approval, which it claimed to be a UK aviation industry first.
Specsavers operates two Hawker Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft to shuttle staff between Guernsey and UK regional airports, as well as the Netherlands and other European destinations.
Nick James, Specsavers director of group services, said: 'Our aircraft and crews provide an invaluable service in support of our expanding optical and hearing markets. They're certainly kept busy.'
