A new Specsavers practice has opened in Wick, Scotland following high demand for its mobile services in the area.
It will replace Specsavers’ mobile eye care services in Wick, Thurso, Sutherland and Caithness. The practice would also provide hearing care, a statement added.
A six figure sum had been invested in the new premises in Bridge Street, which will create 10 jobs in the area.
‘After operating a very successful mobile service in Wick, as part of Specsavers Highlands and Islands service, it is now very exciting to extend our service in Wick to be full time, with the opening of our store,’ said dispensing director Tony Caffrey.
