Specsavers party conference campaign nominated for award

Specsavers has been shortlisted for a public affairs award for its campaign showcasing optometry to politicians, which it highlighted at the Labour and Conservative party conferences.

The multiple gave politicians eye and ear health checks on a stand at the events, which earned them a nomination for a PRCA-Polimonitor Public Affairs Award.

Giles Edmonds, clinical services director at Specsavers, said: ‘Being a finalist in these awards is as much a recognition of our colleagues across community optometry and audiology as anything. I congratulate them as well as colleagues in our support offices and Connect Public Affairs who worked on the campaign.’
