A celebration was held to mark the fifth anniversary of Specsavers Reigate last month.
Activities included a charity raffle, cake handout and a visiting balloon artist able to create octopus and penguin figures.
The celebration then continued at the Surrey Minis Rugby Festival, where the practice raised money for a local school.
Store manager Jane Norman said: 'The weekend of celebrations was our way of saying thank you to the people of Reigate who have supported us and helped us reach this fantastic birthday. It's been made all the more special knowing we've also been raising money for two fantastic causes.'
