Specsavers rolls out e-commerce offering

Patients in the UK can now buy ophthalmic frames from specsavers.co.uk after the multiple introduced e-commerce functionality to its website last week.

The online proposition was developed and tested in partnership with the multiple’s joint venture partners. Buyers will be asked to name their local practice, which will receive the proceeds from the sale. In return, the store will deal with any questions about purchase, checking pupillary distance measurements, fit, returns or aftercare if required.

'We know they increasingly want more choice about how they shop with us, so providing high-quality products and great customer service is another way we are making buying glasses even easier.’
