Specscart founder named on Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list

Specscart founder and managing director Sid Sethi, pictured, has been named on the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list 2024 in the retail and e-commerce category.

Sethi launched Specscart in 2018 with a focus on fashionable, low-priced eyewear, sustainably-made in its in-house Bury headquarters and delivered within 24 hours.

The brand has three high street retail stores across Greater Manchester and has delivered to 120 countries, generating sales during 2023 of $3.3m.

Specscart was on track for a 2024 turnover of £5m with plans to launch two additional UK stores and relaunch the website optimised for expansion to US and Canadian markets.

Sethi said that being named on the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list was like winning the National Lottery, an Oscar and the Premier League all in one day.
