UK screen company Spectral Edge has unveiled a new 4k Ultra HD version of its Eyeteq content accessibility technology for colour-blind viewers.
Released at the M-Enabling Summit in Washington DC this week, it enabled TV operators to better meet the needs of those suffering with colour-blindness, a statement said.
Based on a patented Phusion technology, Spectral Edge’s Eyeteq is an assistive technology for colour-blind viewers that transforms colours on TV screens, tablets or smartphones to enable fuller viewing, while those without CVD see no differently.
‘The theme of the M-Enabling Summit – making connected things and services accessible to all – reflects exactly what our Eyeteq technology delivers,’ said Matthew Terrell, business development manager – North America, Spectral Edge.
