Spectrum Eyecare unveils Lewes Ladies FC window

Lewes ladies football team were on hand at Spectrum Eyecare last week to celebrate the unveiling of a new window in tribute to the club known as the Rookettes.

Spectrum, whose parent company is Leightons Opticians and Hearing Care group, is the official sponsor of the FA Women’s Premier League club and members of the team took the opportunity to staff the phones, provide autographs and pose for pictures at the East Sussex practice.

Luke Wren, director of business development at Leightons, said the firm was really impressed with what the club has achieved. ‘The Lewes Ladies Football Team is really interesting as it’s a fan-owned club with 1,200 members, so it’s a big part of the community. Spectrum Eyecare has sponsored the team for several years so we felt it was important to help maintain those links and continue to support them and the community.’
