Spektre launches Mambo - its first ophthalmic collection
Optician first came across Spektre at this year’s Mido. At the time, the company was only producing sunglasses but hinted it was working on its first ophthalmic collection. The result is the Mambo family.
The range includes 13 ophthalmic frames released to the UK market in a choice of neutral tones.
Spektre said the frame styles from the collection were inspired by ‘a modern street style’ and iconic sunglass shapes. For example, one of the most popular Spektre sunglasses, Audacia, pictured right – has been reproduced as an ophthalmic frame with a less vibrant palette and a stainless steel bridge.
