Rodenstock releases X-tra Clean Finish
Rodenstock has released X-tra Clean Finish, a brand new lens treatment said to be dirt repellent and easy to clean.
The company said the new smooth surface meant less dirt stuck on the lens. Any dirt that does find its way on to the surface can be removed without streaks or residue due to the flexible molecular chain make-up of the finish. A survey undertaken in Germany found that 93% of spectacle wearers were able to notice easier cleaning due to the finish.
It is available for Rodenstock Premium Finishes Solitaire Protect Plus 2 and Solitaire Protect Balance 2 from February and for Solitaire Protect Pro 2 from April.
