Stepper has extended its ophthalmic product portfolio with the release of new frames constructed from TX5.

The manufacturer explained it employed a patented injection moulding process to work with high tech plastic and, combined with its expertise on bridge fitting, ensured best quality and fit.

Richard Crook, Stepper UK managing director, said there was a gap in the market for the new frames. 'There may be some out there who don't see the ladies plastic market as significant, or it's often forgotten. For us, this market is growing and is overlooked by dispensing opticians at their peril,' he said, adding that sales of this frame type were at an all-time high in the UK as well as worldwide.
