Hilco Europe sales manager, Steve Beech, passed away at the end of September
Optician sadly reports the death of Hilco Europe sales manager Steve Beech, who passed away at the end of September.
Beech was widely known throughout the industry. He joined Hilco in 1991, initially responsible for sales in the Midlands, before being promoted to key accounts manager and eventually, sales manager. He travelled extensively looking after the company’s interests, not just in the UK but in several European countries and attended all the main European optical exhibitions.
He died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and family after being diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the year.
