Steve Graham retires from Bausch + Lomb

Appointments

Bausch + Lomb (B+L) has recognised Steve Graham on his retirement after 48 years in the optics industry and for his dedication to one company since 1975.

Graham started his career as a lab technician at Madden & Layman prior to B+L’s acquisition and progressed into lab supervisor and quality manager roles.

When contact lenses were defined as medical devices, Graham led a team to become the first UK manufacturer of gas-permeable contact lenses and be awarded a CE mark.

B+L said Graham’s contribution to the business was pivotal over the decades and he had significantly contributed to continuously improve the quality of the products while increasing productivity.
