Student dispensing optician wins 2018 Stepper award

A student dispensing optician has been awarded the 2018 Stepper prize.

Adriana Stiuriuc, who is a student in practice at Bayfields Opticians in Harrogate, Yorkshire and studies at Bradford College, received the award for achieving the highest mark in the ABDO Preliminary Qualifying Practical Examination. Peter Reeve, managing director of Stepper UK and Julian Boyson, business development manager, presented Stiuriuc with the award in December 2018.

The Stepper prize for achieving the highest marks in the ABDO practical examination has been given out every year since 2001 to show its continued support for excellence in Professional Dispensing Optics.
