Students marshal for Vision Care for Homeless PeopleA team of optometry undergraduates from Aston University recently volunteered to act as marshals for Knowle Lions Club’s five mile fun-run.

Jon Antonio, Ramita Anand, Rosie Pattison and Emma Percy (pictured left to right) helped marshal the 2,000 runners participating in the event, raising more than £50,000 for the charity - which plans to make a £10,000 donation to the Vision Care for Homeless People’s clinic in Birmingham.
