Study discovers novelty horror show

An Optical Express study has revealed that five out of six novelty Halloween contact lenses it tested failed basic quality and safety tests.

It carried out tests on volunteers looking at the fit and comfort of the six contact lenses as well as packaging and instructions for use.

Nearly half, 46%, of study participants were aware of potential corneal abrasions and scarring from ill-fitting lenses, the multiple found.
