Style with discretion

Eyewear supplier and manufacturer Mondottica has released the spring/summer 2018 sunglass collection from British fashion brand Hackett Bespoke.

The nine-strong collection includes sophisticated metalwork, concealed trims and tailored acetate, all inspired by finely-dressed gentlemen on the English Riviera, said Mondottica.

The off-round metal HSB870 takes its styling cues from vintage British sports cars, with sleek racing grooves pressed into the outer rims and the single upper brow bar – which also sports a discreet Hackett logo.

The theme of discretion is continued on the temples, that bare H-shaped metalwork that extends around the temple joints.

The use of Ultra-Thin Acetate (UTA) on the HSB689 (above) allows the pilot-inspired silhouette to take on an oversized form without the associated heft. Low key details include a grooved nose bridge and patterned core temple wires.
