Superbike racer outfitted

Eyesite Opticians in Brighton has provided elite British superbike racer Brad Ray with specialist eyewear to suit his requirements.

Ray has been visiting Eyesite for over a decade, first for routine eye checks and then for specialist racing eyewear. In 2012, the practice provided Ray with personalised frames that gave him an extra 40% peripheral vision for a Moto GP Rookie competition.

The practice has provided Ray with specialist advice and two pairs of prescription Oakley frames that can be worn under his racing
helmet. He commented: ‘The race eyewear is so important as the easy clean treatment means that I can see underneath my helmet, even in difficult weather conditions.’
