Supplier scam warning

Norville Optical has issued a warning to fellow suppliers after it received bogus orders for thousands of pounds’ worth of optical equipment.

The orders purported to be from the purchasing department of Richmond University, London, but the delivery address was listed in Wolverhampton.

Norville warned staff at optical suppliers to be extra vigilant, because the person responsible clearly understood optical terminology and products.
