Supplies donated to eye clinics for the homeless

Optical supplies company Three-Sixty has supported the homeless community this winter by donating supplies and medicines to a UK charity.

Vision Care for Homeless People is an organisation that helps those sleeping rough gain access to free eye care. The charity has a network of clinics run by volunteer optometrists and support workers, in cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton and Exeter.

‘Vision Care for Homeless People provides a vital service to those who are unlikely to obtain professional eye tests or treatment within opticians’ practices,’ said Owen Joynt, Quality Assurance Manager at Three-Sixty based in Newtown, Powys.

‘We’re very much aware of those who are less fortunate than ourselves, and we understand how important eyesight and the need for regular tests are for them, regardless of their circumstances,’ he added.
