Supply agreement renewed

An agreement for the manufacture and supply of Gucci branded sunglasses and optical frames has been renewed by Kering Eyewear and Safilo.

The current agreement will be allowed to run its course until December 2020, with a new three-year contract beginning in January 2021.

During the previous three-year collaboration the two companies formed a partnership which made use of Safilo’s craftsmanship and expertise.

Kering Eyewear said it supported the Safilo ethos, and both companies remained committed to preserving Italian eyewear manufacturing and the Made in Italy label more broadly.
