Survey reveals lack of eye health awareness

The fourth annual Healthy Sight Research study surveyed 1,000 people in the UK aged 18 or over and revealed a distinct lack of awareness among the UK public about habits which can be harmful to vision. Forty-three per cent of those surveyed were not aware that bad nutrition could be harmful to their eyes, while 55 per cent were unaware that smoking could harm their eyesight.
