British supplier Optical Service has extended its collection of eyewear from Austrian lifestyle and sports brand Red Bull.
Released at Optrafair last month, the new range is one of the first to benefit from a new design team headhunted from Italian manufacturer. Optical Service managing director David Eldridge said the new designs have brought an extra layer of wearability that is really starting to pay dividends with patients.
The RBRE 745 ophthalmic frame from the Sports Tech Series is constructed from Xtreme Matrix Polymer (XMP), used in Formula 1 to make seats and boasts lightweight properties and flexibility. The frame has a masculine shape with three dimensional injection moulding.
