TearLab rebrands as Trukera Medical

This comes as it intends to expand its position in the corneal health market

TearLab has rebranded as Trukera Medical to reflect its growth strategy as the company intends to expand its position in the corneal health market.

Adam Szaronos, CEO at Trukera Medical, said: ‘We continue to remain dedicated to the advancement of corneal health. Our decision to rebrand as Trukera Medical represents our history as pioneers of point-of-care testing for corneal disease, while also more clearly reflecting where we’re going next.’

Trukera Medical also launched its first product under the new name, the ScoutPro Osmolarity System, which was designed to advance corneal health decisions in eye care practices.
