Tele-optometry launched in the US

A new form of tele-optometry developed by Digitaloptometrics offering comprehensive remote eye health exams will be launched to the US market later this week at Vision Expo East in New York.

The Digitaloptometrics system includes recommendations by the American Optometric Association (AOA): a complete vision analysis, gathering of ocular and physical health histories, subjective visual findings to determine an accurate prescription for vision correction and an evaluation of current eye health including a glaucoma screening test.
