The event not to be missed

Time is running out to book your seat at the event of the year, the Optician Awards 2011.

Sixteen trophies will be presented on the Saturday evening of the Optrafair weekend (April 9-11) at a glittering black tie bash. The event will be held at the Hilton NEC Metropole and the theme this year is Strictly Come Dancing, plus a few surprises thrown in along the way.

The evening will start with a drinks reception, followed by dinner during which our dance couples, selected from our readership, will compete in a Strictly-style dance off. Professional dancers from the TV show will be on hand to perform and lend a professional eye to the judging. Once our dance winners have been selected, guests will be treated to a stunning audio visual review of the year before our celebrity host for the night takes to the stage to present the awards.
