Thomson gives Gulley lecture

Professor David Thomson presented the second annual David Gulley Lecture at City & Islington College, London.

Professor Thomson, who works in City University's Optometry Department, gave 'A whirlwind tour of the visual system'. The College's annual Diploma presentation followed the lecture in which prizes were presented by Frank McLoughlin, principal of City & Islington College. The student winners for 2002/2003 were: Miriam Gaby (best second year full-time), Khusmita Shah (best third year part-time), Fatema Walji (best first year full-time), Bela Shah (best first year part-time), Leanda Holt (best first year part-time), Wendy Ward (best receptionist), Sadja Ramzan (first year contact lens), John Stanley (second year contact lens), and Victoria Harrity received the Bateman prize for achievement.
